We heard stories of Poe all the time as kids and visited his house several times in school. they told us that every year, on his birthday, someone comes to visit Poe's grave and leaves a bottle of wine and a rose. Year after year, people stake the place out to find out who is doing it, but they never catch anyone there even though the rose and the wine always show up.
