R. I.P. Blake Snyder (1957-2009)

I was saddened to learn that aspiring screenwriters everywhere have lost one of the most widely-read and recognized mentors of recent years -- Blake Snyder.

I never had the chance to attend one of his "Save the Cat!" seminars, but reading the book gave me some amazing perspective on my own writing.
